Nelson Academy received a two day ungraded Ofsted inspection of a good school on 8th and 9th November 2022. We are delighted to share that Ofsted have confirmed that 'Nelson Academy continues to be a good school.'

Nelson Academy received its first Ofsted inspection on 30th November 2016, and received an overall effectiveness of ‘Good’, with all areas also being found to be ‘Good’.

Ofsted Parent View
Parents and carers can give their views of our academy at any time during the academic year and at the time of an Ofsted inspection using an online questionnaire called Parent View.

When we are notified of our next Ofsted inspection, parents will be invited to give their views about the school to inspectors using the Parent View online facility as this has replaced Ofsted’s paper questionnaire.
