We have been lucky to be one of three schools taking part in a special installation project with the Museum of Zoology in Cambridge for Earth Day.

The project involved a day in school with Dr Wade from the museum, when she came to help us classify wildlife around our school grounds. We then went on a wonderful trip to the museum to explore the collection there. Many of us had never been to a museum before... and WHAT A SPACE to visit! So many species! Finally, we had a visit from ceramics artist Louise Beale, who taught us ways to create our own native creature using pinch pots and lots of texture. Our work will form part of the installation in the museum on the 25th March.
