Burns Night

Year Five celebrated Burns Night with a day of Scottish fun! In honour of the Scottish Poet Robert Burns, we dedicated a day to all things Scottish - Burns' poems, Scottish Dancing, Charles Rennie Mackintosh art and some Computer programming with a special Scottish Challenge. As a treat, after working hard peeling tatties, we enjoyed our Burns' Supper together (haggis, neeps, tatties, scotch pancakes, shortbread and a 'wee dram' - Irn Bru). I was very happy to have seen such enthusiasm for Scottish Culture and some converts to the delights of the haggis!
