Nelson Academy celebrated Autism Acceptance Day with a whole spectrum of colourful activities.

Our students made their way around the school field for a special sponsored colour walk, created autism-inspired artwork, and enjoyed delicious cakes and bakes – made by staff and parents – for a small donation. There was also a prize raffle.

In total, the school raised a whopping £2,312.85 for the National Autistic Society.
