The Summer Reading Challenge is back! Do you fancy having a go?
All you have to do is read 6 library books over the 6 weeks holidays - any 6 books you like as long as they come from the library. For every book you read, you will receive a sticker and 6 stickers means you have earned a Summer Reading Challenge medal and certificate.
Someone from Downham Market Library is coming to our school on Tuesday 4th July to speak to the children about the challenge, then they will return the following week on Tuesday 11th, to sign up any children who wish to take part. You will need a library card to take part, so if you don't have one, you can sign up for one in the main office, but it must be done before Monday 3rd July, so that the library team can take the forms back the following day and sort out library cards, which will be delivered when they return on Tuesday 11th.
The Summer Reading Challenge is hugely popular and is a great way to encourage reading over the school holidays.
