Festive fun for all and lots of money raised for a wonderful charity!
Children at Nelson Academy enjoyed taking part in an exciting Rudolph Run to raise money for Nelson's Journey, a Norfolk charity which helps bereaved children and young people. More than £2,100 has been raised by the run so far! Parents were invited to run with their children and many members of staff joined in too. There was a very festive feel in the school field with lots of beautiful Christmas decorations and lights, as well as classic Christmas music and a snow machine. Every child had a pair of antlers to decorate, a red Rudolph nose to wear and a scavenger hunt map, which showed them where they could find Christmas stamps to collect. Friends Of Nelson were wonderful, selling hot drinks and tasty treats on this very cold December day.
