Nelson Academy
Nelson Academy is a large non-denominational school and nursery sponsored by the Eastern Multi-Academy Trust, providing education for over 350 children aged 3 to 11 in Downham Market, Downham West, Salters Lode, Barroway Drove and Nordelph. A number of parents from surrounding villages also choose to send their children to Nelson Academy.

Christmas Closure
The academy is closed for the Christmas holidays. If you have any concerns about a child's safety or welfare please contact the Childrens' Advice and Duty Service (CADS) on 0344 800 8021. If you wish to make a subject access request or report a data related issue during this time, please email datarequests@eastern-mat.co.uk. This inbox will not be regularly monitored over the break, and you may not receive a reply until our return on 5th January 2026. School will reopen for pupils on 6th January 2026. We wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
